Joining the NFG
Step One: Join
the National Speleological Society (optional)
Membership in the National Speleological Soceity is strongly
encouraged but not manditory to join the NFG.
By becoming an NSS member you
will be part of a much larger caving community. As part of your membership
you will recieve a monthly publication the "NSS News" which is an excellent way
to keep abreast of the latest happenings in the caving world. You will get
an annual membership catalog as well as an annual scientific journal of pertinent
articles. Every year the NSS also publishes "American Caving Accidents". By
learning from our mistakes we can help prevent more occurrances in the

Step Two: Join
the Niagara Frontier Grotto
A full voting membership is available to anyone for an annual
membership dues payment of $15.00. Please note that NSS membership is a
requirement for anyone that wishes to hold office in the NFG. Please send
